Physical Appearance:
Yuliya has an angular face, usually carved by her long and somewhat layered hair. One could call her plain looking as no trait of her actual body stands out more than her odd shade of white-blonde hair and prominent lime-green eyes. Yuliya is considered to be exceedingly feminine but never holds her head very high, more of submissive girl. Yuliya walks with her arms tight to her body and her hips don't make a twist too much when she moves.

Her body is not something that could be considered "attractive", she's small and extremely thin. Yuliya's mildly unhealthy look fits well with her body frame, so her limbs are not too long or short, just right. One can expect with her borderline thin body is her skin being very pale, proving that she doesn't get out very much.

Yuliya's clothing is more or less set in anything dark, mostly due to dark clothing being warmer and it makes her feel like she's more invisible because dark colours seemed to go unnoticed.

Biography:
In the year of nineteen fifty-five, a striking young woman by the name of Marcelina Valov found herself forced into an arranged marriage with a man thirty years her senior. It was mostly because Marcelina's father was sick of her being rejected by other men, the only one who didn't care about the traits that ran in the Valov family. These traits included things like early sickness, recessive features and albinism. His name, Sydney Yaxley a man with an interest in the Dark Arts and a questionable reputation.

Marcelina first produced a healthy baby boy into the world, Nicholai Fyodorovich Yaxley. Shortly, the passing of two years, on the freezing, snowy night of January 10, 1960 Marcelina and Sydney brought another child, a baby girl. This child was just as healthy as her brother and named, Yuliya Fyodorova Yaxley. She was born with the recessive traits of her mother's white-blonde hair and piercing green eyes.

Sydney was unable to keep jobs working at normal places, he had an attitude problem and was plenty old. Marcelina never had any help with her children and spent every moment with her children; this caused many arguments for the both of them. Their arguments were loud, violent, degrading to one another and usually ended up in the result of others over-hearing them. The fight always caused some type of maltreatment on Sydney's part after he lost his temper, Yuliya and Nicholai were always there to listen or watch. Once Fyodor, Marcelina's father, heard of what was happening he decided to intervene. Sydney refused to let him intervene with the raising of his son, and did not let him leave. However, he took Yuliya and raised her in Russia with him, and Nicholai was subjected to the violent rows between his parents on a daily basis. Fyodor had more than enough money to take care of Yuliya's handicap so she was able to live a relatively easy lifestyle instead of a harsh one where she would have alot of problems.

So, Yuliya spent the time from her fourth birthday until she was eleven at Fyodor's manor, considering she was home for weekends at her family's house. Yuliya was a good kid, respected rules, always well mannered and always quiet. However, while she was growing up she really didn't talk to her family at all and her Russian-only speaking Grandfather was the biggest influence. One could say he was her teacher of sorts, mostly his old and prejudice ways, even teaching her what little English he did know but it was mostly Nicholai that taught her. Marcelina and Sydney were neglectful parents and often left their children alone, letting Nicholai's temper grow wild and Yuliya's unsocial behavior take over. Her childhood was unpredictable and she never had a chance to get close to anyone, so she stopped bothering.

When she received the letters for both Durmstrang and Hogwarts, she had a long talk with her Grandfather before making a choice. She decided on Hogwarts, so she wouldn't have to be with her brother in Durmstrang. When she arrived, she was sorted Slytherin which seemed strange due to her rather docile attitude. In her Second year, during the summer, her Grandfather fell ill and died of an unexplained heart sickness. Yuliya had been with him when he passed away and she never got over it fully. Nicholai and the family went to the funeral, but it was Yuliya that stayed every day and was last to leave until he was buried. Yuliya stays at her own house now, even though she was given some of Fyodor's property and money, she cannot collect until she is of age. Nicholai did not take the loss hard at all, his attitude was strongly arrogant, brutish and cruel. Nicholai is not particularly abusive to his sister, he's just very rough with her and tends to play awful tricks on her. He never gave her anything past a few bruises, he's just more rough than he thinks.

First through fourth year went by relatively smoothly for her personally, earning high marks while being mostly friendless. She found a friend in the strange Thestral, she heard awful stories about them and they bothered her. However, over time, she found them to be quite pleasant and attached to them. She spends the majority of her time at school doing her homework, staying out of trouble and making friends with creatures nobody can see.

By the time Christmas came along in her fourth year her father was captured during a scuffle at the Shrieking Shack involving Alastor Moody, landing him into Azkaban prison. Yuliya lost no sleep over this and feinted concern for dramatic affect. More recently, her father was given a full reprieve and released from Azkaban much to Yuliya's chagrin. Shortly after, Sydney was convinced that his children had to follow the Dark Lord just as he did. However, she was still young, in school and Voldemort told Sydney that he was unable to mark such young children but her brother was well old enough to take the mark by that time.

Truthfully, Sydney didn't find his daughter something exceptional at all. He though he ability was mediocre at best due to how her submissive attitude held her. Sydney's pride laid within his son and was only convinced that if she became part of the pack she would either die out or grow up. When the news traveled that she was receiving the mark when she age, she was reluctant to it. Yuliya was never a violent person, she was just eager to make sure that her life would lead her out of her family's house. One could call it the brilliance of ambition working there and that one future commitment seemed to ruin that. She also found Voldemort a very frightening individual but very attracted to what he stood for.

Dislikes: A lot of people, muggleborns, blood-traitors, talking in class and loud noises, flashes and bright lights.

Health Information: Yuliya was born with albinism, it's a defect in her family from the interbreeding of being pureblooded. Ever since then it has become a family trait, usually among women in the family. She contracted alot of the symptoms that go along with it which causes her to have extreme skin sensitivity, light sensitivity amongst other things such as vision problems.

Yuliya's grandfather helped her with these things, showing her techniques and making sure that her clothing was washed with mild soap to kept her skin from breaking out in rashes or hives. Yuliya's skin is extremely sensitive and just be exposed to enough light can have her burn, just as much as a sudden flashing light could hurt her eyes for several minutes. Sometimes sudden flashes caused her to have headaches, but she keeps her head covered in a witch's hat that is moderately well brimmed so it covers up her eyes and face. However during her classes she uses a simple shading charm so as not to look too silly in her classes.

In school she has a magnifying charm on her books and usually sits near the middle of the class so she can get a good look at the board. Granted, she has some melanin as her eyes are green so her vision problems are not as bad as most with her condition. However, she still needs to use magnifying charms and has to sit moderately close.

Due to such light sensitivity, she doesn't go outside unless it is necessary or much needed. When she was younger, she learned that being out in the Common Room was hazardous if she stayed too long. Even when the green light seeped in from above, she could still get sunburn after a few hours. This caused her to stay away from the Common Room when studying or doing homework, which she usually spends her time inside of her dormitory with her curtains pulled. If she has to go outside, she's usually heavily clothed with long sleeves and a coat with her witch's hat.

Extracurricular Activities: She is not in any clubs, lol...

Romantic history: She has never been involved with anyone romantically, although she seems to think that Gilderoy Lockhart is very attractive.
